He has had more than 40  years’ experience in power industry.  From year 2000, he was responsible for Technical Service Branch of SP PowerGrid and had developed various remote control and monitoring technologies and condition monitoring techniques. He retired from SP in Sept 2014

His areas of expertise cover: Power Generator Operation, Distribution Network Planning, Construction,  Operation and Maintenance, Protection, SCADA, Expert System, Communication, Power Quality Management, Condition Monitoring

He had provided consultancy services to the utilities in China, India, Middle East, and  South Africa while he was in SP Global Solution

He had conducted courses on Network Asset Management, Network equipment maintenance, Condition Monitoring, etc., at Asia Institute of Power Management, Kolkata, India

He is an Associate trainer with SIPG and a course speaker at EETI
